JERRY SEREDA HITS CMT CANADA

"Ain't Learned Nothin' Yet,", the first single from Canadian Country music recording artist Jerry Sereda, will be added to Country Music Television Canada in medium rotation starting Tuesday, March 29th. Confirmed by CMT in their weekly add email distributed to music industry, the single will be added along side those from fellow Canadian artists Ryan Laird and Deric Ruttan.
Jerry Sereda has been making a name for himself throughout the past year seeing his single launch across Canada last month to Canadian Country radio as well as playing key showcases at the CCMA's in Edmonton and, most recently, CMW in Toronto.
"Ain't Learned Nothin Yet" has reached #17 on the Aboriginal Top 40 Countdown and is moving its way up the chart, something in which Jerry has had the great experience of before having two songs from his debut album hit #1 on the Top 40 Countdown last year. He was also nominated for Best Country Album of the Year at the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Awards late last year and won their Most Outstanding Manitoban award for his dedication to the community and education of young people throughout the province.
Earlier last year, Jerry was the recipient of a First Tracks Production grant provided by APTN to help him make the video for the single.

COMING THIS WEEK
01/23/11

Jason Kirkness has released the first single, "Run Me Away,"
off of his debut album, LIFE ON THE ROAD, to Canadian Radio
starting Tuesday, January 24th, 2011
Jason is a veteran of the Winnipeg and Canadian music scene,
having spent the past 6 years touring throughout Canada.
Jason has said the he has seen and played every small town
in Canada and he loves every minute of it.
His love of Country music comes from being a small town Manitoba
boy raised just south east of Winnipeg. He was brought
up on the sounds of all the classic country artists like
Waylon, Willie and George Jones, to name a few.
His new album grabs from these influences but also
brings in the newer contemporary sounds of Modern Country.
"We had the opportunity to have some really great
writers contribute to this album" said Kirkness. Local Winnipeg
songwriter Williams Prince wrote a number of songs on the album
with the rest coming from Ole and Roots 3 writers, Steven Lee Olsen,
Bruce Wallace and Shawn Christan.
